The Night Before Christmas and Other Fun Stuff
I found a wonderful rendition of "The Night Before Christmas" as told by that hilarious comic, John Cleese, of Monty Python Fame.
I'll bet you never saw and heard the story told quite this way!
In keeping with the Pythonesqe theme, check out this lovely, but very weird,
animated Christmas Card. This was one of the short Python films shown with
Life of Brian on its original cinema release in the UK.
Finally, here are some smart doggies setting up their home for the Christmas Holiday!
I need them to come visit the Bunni Hutch. I am not putting up a big tree, just a smaller
table top one, and floral arrangements.
I hope you enjoyed these video selections of Holiday Cheer.
I wish you and your family
(including pets, of course), my loyal friends, a Merry Christmas and
the Happiest of New Years!

Hey Bunni...
The first video.. weird. Just weird. John Cleese has gone off the deep end, IMHO.
The second one? Loved it! Classic Monty Python is the best.
Those dogs have smartz! that was great!
Merry Christmas.. Happy New Year!
Think what Gilliam's art would have been like with PhotoChop.
On second thought ... I love it for it NOT being PhotoChop.
Hi Solomon: Yes, John is getting a bit barmy...ha ha.
The dogs were adorable, and the Gilliam art card was just inspired.
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas with your adorable family and a Great New Year.
Hi Snarky: Yeah, I hadn't thought of that, it would be unbelievable. Gilliam was definitely way ahead of his time. He was photochop before they even invented it!
Thanks for stopping by, glad you liked!
Hi Bunni, three great vids.
John Cleese has to keep on trouping to pay off his ex-wifey so we can expect even more entertaining lunacy from him.
That second vid brought back ancient memories of black & white TV; I used to be allowed to stay up late for Monty Python, my Dad never did 'get it' but stuff like that had me ROFL.
The Hungarian dogs were delightful also.
Wishing you and yours a very Happy Christmas and New Year.
Good vids Bunni. Thanks. I agree with Soloman, the first was awkward.
The first video was weird but hilarious. The second one was interesting. And, the last one with the doggies was great!!
I had my cat sitting on my lap and he really liked both the John Cleese and the doggie videos!
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! :)
Hi Banned! I bet John isn't too happy he has to pay the ex....probably why he is so grumpy towards Santa.
Sunday Nights the PSB always showed the Pythons...at 10 pm, it was the perfect fun thing to come home and watch after being out and about, giggling ensued
I'm glad you cleared up what nationality those doggies were! They are smart however you say it.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too, Banned, and all the Banned Family! I just have the one fish as family now, and I can't get him to decorate worth a crap.
Hi Matt! Yeah, The first was a bit off beat, gotta mix it up sometimes. John is always so funny and droll. Glad you visited. Merry Christmas.
Hi Teresa: I'm happy you and the kitty enjoyed the videos! Do you think kitty knew there were doggies? I hope kitty wasn't scared. When I had my puppy, Lucy, she used to sit on my lap when I was online. I mainly kept her there, cause she would run around the house like a loon if she wasn't being cuddled. Those JRT terrors are something. I lost her right around the holidays....I did a story on my other blog that you can read by clicking her pics at the bottom of this blog.
I don't want to re-post it now, cause I don't want to bum anyone out doing an official post. It's been 3 years, so I am feeling better now.
Merry Christmas to you and the family.
And, A very Happy New Year! God Bless
aw i love the border collie. Merry Christmas, Bunni!
Since this is the last Christmas Bunni, I wish you the very best Christmas you've ever had.
Oh, this was great. Liked the dogs and their tree trim party the best.
Enjoyed the vids Bunnykins, they even made me smile ;-)
Happy Christmas to you and the menagerie!
Merry Christmas Bunni Buns!!
Hi Labcat! Collies are very pretty! I hope you and your pets have a wonderful Christmas.
Hi Odie! Thanks for the wonderful wishes! If this is the last Christmas, it better be the best I ever had.
I'll think positive...maybe I'll win the lotto that day.
Merry Christmas to you, your family, and your precious Christmas mascot Pending!
Hi Lady Di! Yes, the doggies were just the most entertain little fur balls. They have more skills than all the congress creatures.
Greetings Gotty! I'm sure the vids must have been very entertaining, if they made you smile!
Merry Christmas to you and yours from me and the menagerie (which is really just me and my betta fish, Spanky)...The Squirrells say "Squeek".
Red! How did you know my secret other nickname?
Merry Christmas to you too, hon.
I wish my dog was as well trained... Hell, I wish I was as well trained as those dogs!
This one set off a gush of memories: I was a Hungarian linguist in Army Intel circa 1976 through 1978 (the Merry Christmas video with the dogs was of Hungarian origin) stationed in Augsburg Germany in 1977, and remember seeing a concert in Munich Germany and watching Ian Anderson in Munich live promoting his rather pathetically received Jethro Tull album 'Heavy Horses'.
I bought the concert poster, of Ian leading two Percherons (or Belgians), possibly Clydesdales down a dirt road.
You double dipped me here, Bunni.
Hee hee, Freaksmack, that was funny! Those dogs are more well trained and much better looking that all the libs that voted for obummer! I know you are even more skilled than they are!
Hello Fredd! What an interesting story! You lead an exciting life. It's a co-inky-dink that I happened to post my tull video's, no? I'm glad I took you down memory lane, on both counts! Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy New Year to you and yours!
Hi, Bunni,
I think Cleese must have been at the happy pills before he did that one. :-)
Loved the doggies, they can put up my Christmas tree any time they want and probably do a better job than me!
I don't blame you for wanting to stay away from politics - I'm done with it, too, until after Christmas or perhaps even until the New Year - I'll see how the mood takes me.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, (and prosperous), New Year.
Spidey
Hi Spidey! John Cleese allways seems to be on the happy pills....he's so funny. I liked him esp. in a fish called wanda.
As soon as the doggies get done putting up my tree, I'm going to send them over to your place. In the mean time, I bet you have decorated nicely...I've done a teeny tiny bit, but I'm still not inspired to go rooting around in the basement for the bags and boxes of decorations. It will all be over in a few days anyway, so I don't know.
Merry Christmas, and A very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year to you too! You're a great friend and I enjoy your comments, posts and notes a whole lot! Bye, Bunni
