Happy New Year from Bunni ~ Super Vids to Start your 2011 off Right!

Happy New Year to all my friends!
It's 2011 Already in many parts of the world, and soon to be here!  I hope you have the best year and decade ever!  It's the Year of the Rabbit!  So right there I'm thinking this year will be MUCH better than the last several.

Thanks to our talented friend, Lawson, for making the great picture.

There are already lots of creative video's on YouTube to Celebrate this Festive Time of Year, so without further adieu, I give you a cool compilation with a bit of rule 5 thrown in for good measure by the talented Annabelle.  It will get the party off to a great start!

Now here is the Official Display from Sydney, Austrialia.  They are always  1/2 day ahead of us, so they are well into 2011!  Keep them in your prayers,
they are having Horrible Floods and need our good thoughts, prayers and help.

It's actually around 50 degrees here, and raining heavily, so at least I won't have a holiday ruined by snow.  It's going to be colder tomorrow again, so I'll need to look at
the World's Cutest Animals to warm me up!  The soundtrack is very relaxing too.

I hope this Year of the Rabbit, 2011, finds you in good health, happiness, and wealth.

Just think, we are that much closer to 2012, so that's something to celebrate.

Have a Happy January 1, 2011 and don't be hungover, or loose your keys or anything.

You will be happy to know 1-1-2011 ACTUALLY STARTS THE NEW DECADE!
I bet you didn't know that!  Well, now you do.  I'm very glad about this, because I can
say the last decade for me, and a lot of us, I"m guessing, was pretty crappy!
Especially since November, 2008.  I hope we can survive a few years longer!
So, we have a chance to put the past behind us, and look forward to the future.

We must try and do that, or we'll be sad and depressed, and hopeless.
That's not a good way to start a New Decade and New Year, so resolve to banish the blahs!  Chin up, Cheer Up, and Party On, dudes and dudettes!  I'll be here all year, as I've always been, to bring you fun and cheery video's to help lighten the mood and make you smile.

Update ~ Update! Thanks to Jamie over at Eye of Polyphemus for
linking me in his great Blogroll Spotlight #75!

Also, an absolute MUST READ and WATCH from Matt over at
Conservative Hideout 2.0.    He has great links (mine included) and the
most inspiring video's of our Dear Past President, Ronald Reagan!  Thanks, Matt!

More Christmas Time Fun ~ Homey Style

I hope you all have recovered from your Christmas Cheer!

Then we had the lovely Holiday of Boxing Day yesterday, and don't forget, there are assorted other Holidays down the pike. Plus, I'll remind you of those freeloading quasi-holiday's that have been adopted by the MSM and other grifters looking for more free handouts and excuses to drink more mad dog.  I prefer a nice pinot grigio, beaujolaise, or brut champagne, myself.

In the spirit of that subject, I got to thinking, what might a real bad Santa from the hood be doing?  He's probably counting all the cash he bamboozled, and he'd be having a big laugh about how he fooled people into thinking he was someone else and somewhere else. But you, astute reader,  know the truth, where and who he really is......So...
I won't have to spell it out for you!  Instead, I'll bring you the secret hidden video on how
Homey D. Clown spent Christmas Eve, before the stores closed and he got out of
town to bring more "cheer" to the masses ;-)  I know it's a bit long, but worth it!

Wasn't that fun?  That was a great show!  A young Jim Carrey, and other assorted hilarity.

Now you can get back to the week long celebrations left until the end of this year,
which I will be very happy to see GO.  It means we are that much closer to 2012!
Stay warm and I hope you weren't in the blizzard zone.  It was a sight to behold.
I thought we had it bad here, but the East Coast really got socked.  Stay inside.
H/T for the idea of this interlude to Glenn Beck and his great post and funny comments
on "The Blaze".
I just couldn't help myself!

Merry Christmas from Bunni, Squirrel & Nut Edition

Merry Christmas from the Bunni Hutch to your house.  I hope you all had a wonderful and Blessed Christmas Day, and a lovely evening to come.  God Bless you all, and your family, pets and friends.

This is the day that family gathers round the beautifully decorated Christmas Tree and indulges in some Christmas Cheer!
I hope your gathering turned out a whole lot better than our friends, the Griswalds!

I'm sure everyone has a relative somewhere   like dear old Aunt Bethany!
She obviously saw my post the other day about wrapping cats!

Now we have a surprise visitor to Clark's Christmas Party.
I wanted to embed that classic clip, but every clip says embedding not allowed,
so you just have to follow THIS LINK and see for yourself!

I hope your Christmas celebrations were a bit more subdued!  Now you are ready
to gather around the TV and see some of the many great shows on for this festive holiday!  PBS has been running many nights now the San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker.
If you get a chance, watch it.  The music is beautiful, as are all the performers.
My favorite is the Arabian Nights sequence.  I couldn't find a clip of that,
 so here's the trailer.

I think the Snow Queen made a stop-over with all her snowflakes.  White Christmas' are highly over-rated.  I hope we don't get any more blizzards tonight.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, FROM BUNNI!

Christmas Wrapping......Cats! UPDATED! More cute vids

I know you've been wondering how to wrap those unique presents you are waiting to give to your special someones - or to yourself!  It's hard to get them just right.

As another Bunni public service, I am going to show you a wonderfully cute and fun video on how to wrap your kitteh kat!
Of course, this is all in FUN, and I don't advocate actually wrapping up your cats, dogs, fish, or any other pets.  Maybe sticking a cute bow on their head, and wrapping a little garland around their collars...hee hee.  But anything that would hurt or compromise them, DON'T DO!!!  This is why I post video's, so you can have a look at how someone else did it, while not actually doing it
yourself.  That seems to be the point of 95% of the video's out there...hee hee.

This is such a cute video because Kitteh makes pithy comments during his adventure.

This next one is silly, the kitty looks really cute in her paper dress, though.

You can find the series of other kitteh's getting the Christmas treatment over
at the Mean Kitty Site where I found these.  It's a very hilarious post.
Mean Kitty calls herself the Cranky Grandmother of Cat Sites, and I
believe her.....Apparently there’s a craze going around the internet where idiot humans gift wrap their extremely tolerant cats."  You said it Kitty!  I hope you avoid getting wrapped,
or sent somewhere.

This next little explorer has the right idea, she's going to hide in the Christmas Tree
and avoid getting wrapped altogether!

I hope you enjoyed my interlude of Christmas Kitties.
    Now you can go back
to your snow shoveling, decorating, and Festive Christmas  TV show Specials.

UPDATE~~~~~ UPDATE!  Teresa did a post today that has EVEN CUTER video's, if that's possible, he he.  You must go over to her site and watch now!
I loved them all, esp. the first one, and the last one.  Merry Christmas!

Christmas is Coming, HERE'S HELP!

It's ONE WEEK before the
big day!  Where does the year
go?  I hope you are well on the way to being done with most of your Christmas preparations.

There is so much to be done, and when the weather is cold, snowy, icy, it makes it hard to get out to the stores!  Today is supposed to be the busiest shopping day of the year.  I've done most of mine, and that's good!  I still have to decorate some, and bake, and wrap prezzies!  I bet you do too!

Well, fear not, I have some little friends below that will be happy to help you.
They are cute, cheerful, and don't demand payment - just love, huggs, treats
and cuddles.

In case you didn't click on the link on the video, here is the Adoption site referenced.
The Best Friends Animal Society put together this awesome video.
I first learned about them on the Today Show this week.  There are so many deserving charities, especially this time of year.  You know how I love animals, and I support animal related organizations.  There are so many adorable, adoptable animals that need fur-ever homes.  I also put some gadgets on my right side bar, and at the bottom of the blog.  You can plug in your zip code, and the type of pet you'd want, and PetFinder will help you out!  It warms my heart when our four legged friends can be helped!

Of course, like Christopher below suggested, DON'T, I repeat DON"T run out
and adopt an animal just because it's Christmas and you think a puppy or
bunny, or even a hamster would look cute beneath the tree, just because
your kids whined about wanting a pet for Christmas!  That's the worst
thing you can do,  then EVEN more Animals will end up in the shelters.  A pet
should be well planned, by all members of the family, and NEVER a "surprise" gift.

I know I can't own a pet now, so when I post about this and about helping the animals,
I mean by a donation of time, supplies, money, or just visiting the shelter and
playing with them to cheer them up!  There are many ways to help a pet.  Even feeding the birds in your yard & leaving them fresh water when it's cold (change after freezing).

Here are some more cuties from the featured Adoptions Charity.  You'll see Kitteh's, Pups, Horsies, and BUNNIES, oh My!

It's such a pretty time of year, and joyful too!  Bring joy to your heart by helping animals whenever you can.  We need to do so, because they can't help themselves.

Now, lets all sing along with our Pal's at Loony Tunes, and my Favorite Bunny, Buggs! Daffy puts in an appearance too!  Enjoy and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Another Spoiled Celeb has a Sweary Meltdown!

There is no shortage of spoiled celebs who have major meltdowns when things don't go their way!  The latest looser to rant about Lord knows what is Nicolas Cage.

Maybe he was mad someone made fun of his hairpiece.  Or, maybe he was just roaring drunk.  The Mail Online reports:

Nicolas's meltdown moment occurred outside a nightclub in Romania, after filming his new movie, Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance.  It was just after 5 am on Sunday morning when Cage lost his temper outside the club in Bucharest, Romania. The incident was caught on camera by a passer-by on his mobile phone device.

Get in that car and walk away. I'll f*****g die because of honour. I'll f*****g die right now,' screams Nicolas in the video.

What set off the multi-million dollar actor's rage is unknown, but in the video it appears that his anger is directed towards a man and two women, who all attempt to calm him down.
Nicolas' minders were also forced to step in, trying to move the actor away from the venue.  But the group's advice falls on deaf ears, as Nicolas pulls away and screams: 'Don't ouch me you little b****.'
Moments later he heads back towards the concerned group, pretending to point two fingers in his own eyes and screaming:
'See my eyes - respect them as you'd respect me.'

Read more from the original article RIGHT HERE!

I found the video on YouTube.  The links in the article didn't take you to a vid.
Watch and see if you can understand him!  I'm glad the Daily Mail translated for us!

I think Christian Bales' Rant was infinitely more entertaining.  Especially the way
RevoLucian made the Remix.  Watch Below!  Language Alert, Yo!

I don't know how Bab's ended up in there, no wonder Chris is swearing his nutty head off.

Below is the actual, unedited rant!  It is quite entertaining too.  There have been many times I wish I could have gone off on people who tormented me, but I didn't want to get canned.
Ahhhhh, the perks of being a big, money making super star - getting to say whatever you want. They can get away with it because they are "artistic" and actors, and most artists, are notoriously temperamental and high strung.   I have many of those traits, but I restrain my mouth.  I had way more, extremely valid reasons to go off, but I just sat there and smiled.
That made the tormentors even madder!  They want a reaction out of you, don't you know.
Someday I won't be so sweet and restrained when someone pisses me off.....when that
day comes, run away!  I love to watch and live it vicariously, though!   Merry Christmas.

There, I feel better now.

Fun for a Lazy Day

I hope you are enjoying the weekend, where ever you are.  Out here in Bunni land the weather has been HORRIBLE, so I didn't get to go out for walks, errands, or any fun stuff.  Luckily, I did all my food shopping previously.  It's a freaking blizzard out here that isn't fit for man, woman or beast outside.  Even my squirrel buddies are hiding.  I did feed 4 pretty red cardinals I saw hopping around my deck.  I've never seen that many all at once.  I hope the wind didn't blow them out of the trees.  They looked hungry, hunting in the snow for food, so I threw them out some raisin bread.  A while later I saw one eating it.  The rest is all snow covered by now.
Hopefully they will find it later.  I feel bad for our
animal friends who can't be inside a nice warm place in this windy, frigid weather.

Our Kitteh friends have the right idea, stay inside and take it easy.  They should be keeping fit and active, but like our little friend above, some just would rather stay on the couch and watch football or something.  This cute little lump won't exercise, no matter what!  You can lead a horse to water......

The fat cats should get some exercise in, or they will wind up getting stuck!

No matter how long this little tiger exercised, she couldn't make herself small enough to squeeze into the bottle!  Nice try though.

Our Festive Little Friends are practicing for Santa's arrival.  They don't look too happy to be all dolled up, but they could get exercise running away!
Thanks to Barking Spider for sending me these cute kitteh photo's!
Spidey has a very good post today that will open your eyes as to
the dangers lurking in your wallet!  Have a look and take care.

Stay safe and warm out there, this horrible weather is nothing to sneeze at.
Read about how to protect yourself in the dangerous cold RIGHT HERE!

There are more cute kitties on my right side bar, and if you click them, you can
see some funny pics and captions.  The Kitteh's REALLY don't like dressing up.
But we sure LOVE looking at them and having a smile.

I feel like a Tourist Trailer & Johnny on Today

Hello Dear Friends & Loyal Readers:
You might have noticed, but I haven't been around in over a week, busy, busy.

I thank all of you who left such nice comments, I missed you all too.  I figured it's been a few weeks (since Thanksgiving!!!) since I did a post, so here's a little something to tide you over.

I'm very tired now, and it is SO COLD out here, it's brutal walking around on the ice and waiting for the busses, let me tell you. I hope you all had super fun Thanksgiving Holiday's, and I wish all my Jewish friends a very Happy Hanukah! I hope you had fun trips, and avoided the creepy gropers. It makes one not want to be a tourist.

I think the only Tourist I want to be is watching the new movie that comes out Friday, Dec. 10th. It has my two favorite actors in it, Angelina Jolie, and Johnny Depp, so this should be very fun. Here's the trailer for your entertainment.  I hope your week is wonderful.

The flick looks like great fun, and Angie is beautiful and elegant, as usual. I still need
to see the other movies I wanted too.  Perhaps I'll try and see the early show of Harry Potter this Sat. or Sunday. If anyone saw it, let me know how you liked it, and any of the other current ones. Catch ya laters.
UPDATE UPDATE:
Johnny was on the Today Show this morning! The interview was very interesting, and since many of you wrote how you love seeing him as a regular guy, you'll enjoy this.

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/35133959

I embedded from the site above, and it's a different interview!! For Matt's interview today, CLICK ON THE NBC NEWS LOGO on above vid pic, or go to the address I put & Scoll the vids to the 8:48 am one, and you'll see Johnny's Interview from Thursday Today Show. I loved one of his quotes, guess which one, it's near the end of the interview.
You get extra Bunni huggs & kisses if you guess ;-)
