ClimateGate 2010 ~ Lord Monckton Video

I don't think many people know about the ClimateGate Conference currently going on.
It has not been widely reported, probably so they can sneak more crap in and figure out more ways to tax us and limit our freedoms!

Of Particular interest is the appearance of Lord Christopher Monckton on Tuesday May 18th at 2:00 pm.  As you know, he is the former science advisor to U.K. Prime Minister Thatcher.  He will be discussing "Global Warming, the Trojan Horse that menaces global freedom".

Here's an Interview with Lord Monckton on
the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf.

Also attending the Conf. in Chicago is James Delingpole of the Telegraph UK, he's been posting pity  comments on his FaceBook Page.

I hope you have a great week.

3 Reasons YouTube Shouldn't Censor Downfall Parodies

We all love the YouTube parodies of Hitler in the Bunker.  I've posted a few myself.  Always good for a laugh.  Watch this video from Reason TV.  They give good reasons why these parodies should stay on YouTube.  Someone needs to do one on Kitteh's hating on Hitler, since he insulted them.
There are many things I don't tolerate, insulting animals is in the top 3!

Apparently, YouTube isn't doing such a great job of getting rid of all the Parodies,
here's one that's pretty crazy!

Hitler finally has had enough. He places an urgent call to the Talking Kitty,
to order him to cease and desist!

I hope you enjoy your Wednesday.
I'm sure I don't have to remind you it's
Cinco de Mayo, so lets all raise a glass & toast to Arizona.
I've invited KeyBoard Cat to our Party, along with his
drunken cousin, Gato!

Enjoy your day, and don't get too hungover, because tomorrow
we are celebrating Labour and Gordoom Brown getting voted out of power in the UK!

My Friend, Barking Spider, explains what this all means, in case you didn't
follow this on the news:
"The MSM got their way with a hung parliament, Bunni. Cameron still has the most seats but is short of a majority, Clegg has already said that Cameron should form the next government and Gorgon is holed up in the Downing Street bunker and also hoping to do a deal with Clegg. UKIP,(Nigel Farage's party), has split the Conservative vote and lost themseats.

If Cameron can't deal with Clegg, he will go ahead and form a minority government, I'm sure, because if you combine Lib/Lab seats, they still don't add up to a majority. The media have created the worst of all worlds for us."

Well, Everyone in the UK is screwed, I can't figure out WHO IN THEIR
RIGHT MIND would vote Labour.. Read about the cock-up HERE!

The Most Exciting 2 Minutes All Year!

Happy May, Dear Readers.
I've had a very busy week, but I found time to relax and have loads of fun yesterday.
As you might know, it was Kentucky Derby Day!  For as long as I can remember,
I've enjoyed watching the most exciting Horse Race of the Year on the first Saturday in May.  Animal lover that I am, I love watching the magnificent champions giving their all.  Yesterday had to be the MOST exciting and happy race yet. The finish was spectacular.

The festivities started on NBC at 3 pm, about 2 1/2 hours before the actual race started.
I always enjoy the pre-game show, to soak up the atmosphere and learn about each of the horses and the riders.  I wish I had placed a bet at an OTB place, because I PICKED THE WINNER, SUPER SAVER!   Once again, my Favorite Jockey,
Calvin Borel,  came through on a muddy track close to the rail.
He has won 3 of the last 4 Derby Races!  Last year was super exciting too.
Below is a video of the 2010 Derby race, in case you missed it, or if you
want to watch again.  I'm sure the guy that bet $100,000 on Super Saver is
thrilled too, he walked away with $900,000 - not bad for a day's fun.

Calvin didn't disappoint, he is such a great rider, and genuine, nice man, you can tell from listening to him talk.  He always thanks God and his family for his wins,  he is a true ambassador for the sport.
"I was born to ride," Borel said. "This is what I wanted to do all my life. Every jock's dream is to win the Derby. But I never dreamed I'd win three Derbies."
In some ways, Borel's trip with Super Saver mirrored his ride from last year on Mine That Bird. He laid off the pace, wove through traffic, hugged the rail and flew home for the triumph. He had to get around Conveyance, then cut inside of Noble's Promise, and once he did that Super Saver was gone.
"Calvin is such an instinctive rider, I really didn't want to handcuff him with too many instructions," Pletcher said. "The only thing I told him was ‘Ride him like you own him, and don't forget about getting a lead change.' It was as simple as that."

Here is the AP video of his press conference after the exciting and very muddy race.  Calvin predicts Super Saver will win the Triple Crown, how exciting!

I love the beauty of Churchill Downs, and the gorgeous roses that are draped over the
winning horse, Super Saver!  He sure is Super!  Here are some photo's from
The Winner's Circle, the happiest place in America, yesterday.  The sun came out just
in time for the start of the 136th Kentucky Derby, and shone brightly on Super Saver, and
the other 19 horses.

The official site, KentuckyDerby.com, has loads of cool information for you to look at.
You can read about the riders, the horses, and whatever else that interests you.

After all the sadness of the past week, with the wildlife being threatened in the huge Gulf
oil spill, it's nice to see some happy news for a change.

Now we go from the World's fastest horse to the World's Cutest....You must watch this adorable video of a precious Baby Horse, Einstein, the World's Smallest
Horse.  He is so sweet, my teeth ache from watching.  The way he runs around,
who knows, in a few years, he might take the Derby by storm.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and have lots of fun.
Take some inspiration from these fine horses, and run the best
race you can, knowing the finish line may hold some wonderful
surprises for you.
